    What’s New in Version 1.6

DLCRM Version 1.6 has been released with a few more enhancements all aimed at optimizing your experience with DLCRM. Some new features have been added while others have been optimized with the same goal in mind: By translating every day customer data into meaningful business information and making it all available through streamlined interfaces, we can help your laboratory gain that competitive edge.

  • Fulfillment Module Enhancement
    • In the continued pursuit of increased usability and efficiency, we have redesigned the Fulfillment Items Entry such that everything can be done in one window.

    • Simply choose from the list of available Fulfillment items that you have specified through the lists maintenance and click the Add button.

    • This will add the Fulfillment item to the grid below. Once you are done adding all necessary items, click Save to submit.

  • Administrator Tools – Sys Admin Program Enhancement

    • The Sys Admin Program is primarily utilized by your IT Administrators, but is intuitive enough for the any user.

    • Many aspects of DLCRM can be administered through this utility including current users, security settings, security groups, and system queries.

    • Accessing this utility has been made even easier now that DLCRM remembers your current user and the location you are logged into.

    • Now you simply type in your password to validate access and click Logon.

Note: - This is option may or may not be available based on Security settings

  • User Preferences and Settings
    • Sidebar Main Menu

      • Under the View menu on the top menu bar is the option to Show or Hide the main Toolbar found on the left hand side of DLCRM.

      • This setting is checked by default, but DLCRM will always remember the status of this feature each time you exit the application for the next time.

    • Maximize All Windows

      • DLCRM will now recognize that all current windows are maximized and will automatically maximize every new window that is opened.
      • If you enjoy using DLCRM with all windows maximized, DLCRM will now continue to open all new windows with the same size.

Note: - It is not to have a combination of maximized and non maximized windows within DLCRM.

  • Report Viewer Option

    • Under the reports menu, you now have the option to either always view reports run within DLCRM through the Report Viewer or to always print directly to your default printer.

    • Within the report viewer you have the ability to search for any values, export the report data, and print to any other printer currently installed, including PDF drivers.

  • New User Preferences Added

    • Under the File menu found on the top menu bar, you will find the Preferences option.

    • These preferences are user specific and are stored by DLCRM so that every preference will be remembered for each login session.

    • 2 new options have been added, namely the ability to have My Todo’s and the Doctor View automatically open every time you log in to DLCRM.

    • Simply check or uncheck the box to enable or disable this feature respectively.

  • Case QC for Outsourced Cases
    • Under the Tools menu option found in the top menu bar, you will find a new option labeled QC Rating (Outsourced Cases).

    • This new module is designed primarily as a QC process for those labs that outsource cases to other locations.

    • Once the case is returned to the lab, this module will help you approve the case based on ratings you create through DLCRM Maintenance or reject the case based on the Remake Reasons specified in DL Plus.

    • Begin by typing in or scanning the barcode of the Case ID you wish to QC.

    • Next all information related to this case will be retrieved and displayed in the respective section including Case Comments, Case Instructions, all Calls and the corresponding Call Notes, and Case images.

    • Once you are ready to evaluate this case, simply click the check box for Accepted or Rejected found on the right side of the QC window and also choose a rating or a reason for your decision.

    • Once finished, you can now click the save button to submit this quality check to DLCRM.

  • Maintenance Enhancements
    • Call Type Entry Default Values

      • Yet another way that DLCRM helps you do your job easier is the ability to specify certain default values when entering calls of a particular type.

      • Under the DLCRM Maintenance menu, you will find a new option called Call Types.

      • n this example, we want to set the default values for description and Department for all calls of type “Confirm Due Date”.

      • Now when you choose a call type “Confirm Due Date”, the Description and Department will automatically filled in with the values “Due Date” and “Customer Service.”

      • This can be very helpful in saving time when entering high volume Calls that you receive daily.

    • Education Course Entry Default Values

      • Much like the maintenance of Call Types discussed above, certain Education Course can be specified with default values for Description, Duration, Instructor, Type, and Method.

      • Whenever you enter a new Education Course record for a doctor, if you choose certain Courses that have been configured properly, the default values you specify here will automatically fill in their respective fields.

      • In this example, every time you enter an Education record and choose the course named “Course 99”, the Duration will automatically be filled in with “2”, the Instructor will be “Mr. Smith,” type will be “State”, and the method will be “Lecture.”

      • This can prove very useful when your Laboratory consistently hosts the same types of Education Courses and you find you are frequently entering the same course information.

  • Export Records Enhancement
    • Under the File menu found on the top menu bar, you will find the option for

    • When choosing to Export doctor Records, it is now possible to also export all or some of the following tables:

      • Doctors
      • DoctorsCRM
      • SalesSummary
      • SalesThisYear
      • SalesLastYear

    • This feature can be useful when it is necessary to export your doctor records with additional Sales and other related information for use outside of DLCRM.

Note: - This is option may or may not be available based on Security settings.
